Frosty

A quick blog today to show the card I have just finished off using another little bit of my work from the village art group. (See previous post). This one is another Sheena Douglas stamp coloured with felt-tip pens and a water brush. To make it look more 'Christmassy' I added a layer of coarse white glitter. Then I mounted it up on a 15cm square card.
The base card is embossed with a cuttlebug folder and swiped with chalk ink. The sentiment is Crafter's Companion and the layered snowflake is a Marianne die.

Although this is not strictly speaking a home it is 'God's house' and it does include a roof top so I am entering it in
Crafty Hazlenut's Christmas Challenge 41: House or home, and also linking it to Shirley-Anne's blog for my Christmas card tally.

Hi Kate, that's definitely Christmassy and full of snow! Lovely. Thanks soooo much for all your lovely comments on my blog - very much appreciated! I agree with you so much about harvest. All the way through the cathedral service there was a lovely scent I couldn't identify until we were leaving, and then I saw just behind the pillar I was sitting by, a large bale of hay!! Mmmm. Lovely.

I’ve taken the first steps in setting up an Etsy store to see if I can start selling some of my work. Big step - I'm scared to death lol!! I’m hoping I don’t end up making huge booboos and getting banned or something! I’ve never sold anything on line before…

I’m hoping to get the Lynx cutting machine eventually – the Cricut is a real pain, not nearly accurate enough for what I want. You’ll enjoy Penny Duncan’s website. Her free stuff is awesome and there are loads of great video tutorials too, and she’s soooo friendly and helpful! She’s an extraordinarily creative person, and so generous. She’d answer any questions for sure.

Ooooh lovely Fibonacci!! So much of it evident in nature! How can anyone really believe all that fantastic design came about by chance? It’s so perfect!

Hugs,
Shoshi
